All three of our wood blinds are the same product. The difference in price is how they are made. The stock size product cost less because the factory can set up the wood blind making machine and crank out a large volume with only one set up which costs less than having to change the set up for each individual size custom made blind. The express cut-to-fit program is made just like the ready made (stock sizes) but we take one extra step by triming some off the width.

All of our 2" Express Wood Blinds Collection is made from basswood, which is derived from trees that are native from North American, Mexico, Europe, some central portions of Asia, and Japan. Basswood is a quick growing tree that eventually reaches heights ranging from 60 to 80 feet. It has widely ovate, coarsely toothed leaves that can grow up to a foot in a length. This tree cannot survive the polluted air of cities. The wood of this variety is light, soft, close-grained, fairly strong, and quite tough.
