First picture below shows an exploded view of all the parts for an outside mount Illusions shade. For inside mount you can skip step 1 and screw Installation Bracket straight up into top of window opening.

1. For an outside mount installation you will need to attach the Installation Bracket to the L-Bracket with the screws and nuts provided.

2. Hold the shade headrail up to the brackets with the front side tilted down and hook the back lip of headrail onto the back side of Installation Bracket as shown.

3. While holding headrail firmly with one hand start lifting front edge of headrail while pressing in on the spring tab until you hear it click into place.
